Snowbear

1999 — 2005

Snowbear filled our lives with fun and joy.  This beautiful Cymric Manx, mixed with Angora and Flame Point Siamese, had more personality than any one cat deserves and trusted us to a fault.  He had a habit of laying on the floor near us, on his back much of the time, where we would have to step over him.  He'd do it no matter what we would be carrying.

We, my wife and I, were able to leash train him, and took him to a couple local parks.  He loved exploring the parks, though very young children there scared him.  The kids moved to fast for his liking.

As with most all Manx's, he hopped like a rabbit when running.  It was easy to imagine floppy ears.  He did have a bit of tuff where the tail should have been, as the one image shows.  It is a deception, giving the impression that Snowbear has a stubby tail.  He did not.  Considered a "Rumpy" (having no tail, not even a nubbin), we were warned of complication he would have with his digestive track.  Snowbear passed away at 9:30pm, Sunday, 13 November 2005, from such complications.

We miss this fun, crazy, loving cat who kept us entertained.
