The Myer estate in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is an extensive colonial home on a private piece of property where the Vapian residents related to Myer reside in peace – at least they hoped to have peace.
Legends throughout history have twisted the Vampians into a wide variety of beings. Though many myths are not related to Vampians, a good many more are; including vampires (the reason they adopted Vampians as their general reference), werewolves, ghouls, imagery of gargoyles (architectural waterspouts), mermaids and others. Myths of demons also are commonly associated to the Vampians. Dryads, leprechauns, dwarves, gnomes, elves and most of their fairy folk are not Vampians, and collectively belong to a cluster of breeds associated with the Jhrwenwithar or evolutionary branches of sapien-like species having bred with the earth-human population for thousands of years.
A good number of people and families live at Myer’s estate, most of them Vampians.
Jeremy functions as the personal valet to Myer.
Katy is someone Myer relies on for many aspects of life, acting as a casual personal assistant.
John is a templar – one of three that are known to reside at the estate – and one of the soldiers in Myer’s service.
Reese has been with Myer’s hundreds of years, having already been in the Americas before Myer settled there more permanently before the European colonization of North America.
Eiddwen is a curvaceous blonde who chronicles the history and dreams of the clan and Vampians, having considerable interest in interdimensional relations.
And many, many more.
Born in 1143 to a blacksmith in the Mideast, Myer fought in the Third Crusade, having been turn Vampian already. His association with the Norse allowed for later Knights Templars to escape across the sea to the Americas, where they waited for the eventual colonists.
